Steffen founded Weber Energy Group in 2006 to help start-ups and established companies in the solar
energy space enter new markets.
Prior to founding the company, Steffen performed Business Development activities for the Industrial Investment Council (now Germany Trade & Invest), a San Francisco-based company that assisted U.S. high-tech investors expanding to Eastern Germany. Steffen has also held account management and business development positions at Oracle.
A noted solar energy and market entry expert, Steffen regularly attends all the major industry events and
conferences. Steffen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Business Studies, with a major in
Marketing, from the University of Applied Sciences in Erfurt, Germany.
